My Son & I have been going to Zencu since around Covid. We go there every time that I come into town to visit my son(2-3x/yr). This is the only sushi restaurant that we go to in LA. The hostess always remembers us every time that we come in. We went this past weekend during my son's B-Day, and they comped us a beautiful salmon filet with our sushi meal. We appreciate their generosity. The restaurant has a very relaxing ambiance, so you feel comfortable taking your time and eating your sushi. The restaurant has also become our favorite cuz they have Xcellent sushi. Very generous portions, too. Looking forward to our next visit to say hello.

Located on the second floor of Los Angeles' Japanese Village Plaza, we found this restaurant through sheer happenstance. When we walked in the restaurant, it was still empty, but we were warmly greeted by the head chef and staff. The menu boasts a huge selection of sushi, ramen and bento. We ordered a two-item Bento box lunch with chicken and pork katsu, an unaju bowl, a mixed tempura appetizer and the baked mussel appetizer plus a few rolls of sushi: the lobster tail roll, unagi shrimp roll and baked langostino lobster roll and four quail egg shooters. The food was amazing, the tempura batter was light and airy, the sushi (especially the unagi) was so smooth; each item had its own distinct flavors and every bit of it was delicious. As wonderful as the food was, the service was equally as wonderful, every one of the staff was pleasant and attentive, they delivered our food and cleared our plates with expert efficiency. Overall, they made a great first impression and we had a great dining experience.

Yeah this is a great spot in Little Tokyo! I love to come to the area for lunch or drinks so I decided to try this sushi spot yesterday and it did not disappoint. The service is 10/10, food is amazing, and the inside is spacious with a lot of TVs and tables. I'm sure it gets crowded & fun in the evening, I went right when they opened and there was a crowd - mostly regulars it seemed like.

After a day of exploring every shop, we decided we wanted to eat in a quiet restaurant. The staff was so nice and attentive, and funny too. My little sister, husband, and I really enjoyed the food. We all got a variety of different dishes. The sushi rolls were freshly made. My husband got the steak noodles, and omg I wanted I couldn't stop eating them. The meat was perfect texture, not to soft, and not too tough. My little sister had ramen, and noted it was the best one she's ever tried. Over all, we were satisfied with our meals. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem tucked away on the upper level of little Tokyo. It was a busy day for a Wednesday in little Tokyo and we were glad to come across a nice sushi place away from the bustle. Well also glad we found a place that had gyoza as most places don't and that's what my kids like to eat Service was fast. They had a pretty good salmon skin salad with good greens, but there was more salmon meat then skin, but can't complain it was good. Worth a try away high above the little Tokyo bustle
